Spot UV is a technique used to enhance your printed products, by having UV or Gloss in specified areas you can make a logo or text really stand out.
When creating a Spot UV job, You must include a Spot UV template file along with the regular full color file. The Spot UV template file is used to show where the UV will be placed.
Make a copy of your file and then use 100% K to indicate where you would like the UV. White will indicate no UV. Delete all other elements and ensure the file is the same size for uv placement.
When you order a spot uv print job you will see another file upload box for the uv mask.
